Albert J. Farina, a resident of Lake Grove and formerly of the Bronx, died on February 8, 2021. He was 80.

Mr. Farina was born on October 30, 1940 in New York City to the late Paul and Adele (Cameli) Farina. He served in the US Marine Corp and supported My Brother Vinny- an organization which is dedicated to helping homeless veterans. He was the Deputy Commission for New York City Department of Employment Youth Services, the Director of Wildcats NYC, and a Senior Tax Consultant and Office Manager for H & R Block.

He is remembered by his seven daughters, Gigi, Adele, Elisa, Danielle, Natalie, Alissa and Angelise; his siblings, Elisa Farina-DiCarlo, Clara Miritello, Ava DeSimone and Paul Farina; his grandchildren, Christopher and Dominique DiMeglio, Dylan, Madison and Paige Correa; great-grandchildren, Emery Gullo and Lena DiMeglio; Lisa A. Osorio; and Sandra Fuentes.

Visiting will be Sunday from 2-7pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home. 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10am at St. Lucy’s Church, Bronxwood Avenue and Mace Avenue, Bronx.
