Carlos Enrique Murillo, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on November 20, 2023. He was 46.
Mr. Murillo was born on December 30, 1977 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras to Arnulfo and Aida (Matamoros) Murillo. For many years he worked as a truck driver, known as Calvo to his many co-workers, including Camalarga, Tata, Edgardo, Gordo, Cevallos, and Julia. He was a loving husband, father, and an animal lover. A hardworking man who always strived to provide for his family.
In addition to his mother Aida Matamoros, he is survived by his wife, Claudia Rivera-Murillo; and his daughters, Alison Murillo and Hannah Murillo; his brother, Alcides Murillo; his sister, Adeline Romero; and his dogs, Mimi, Melo, and Dorothy.
Visiting will be Wednesday from 10am to 12pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will be private.
