Daniel Chervoni was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Brother, Friend and a local legend! His love for his roots as a true Taino from La Isla del Encanto, the great Puerto Rico, was evident in all he did. His devotion to his neighborhood in the Bronx was his greatest joy. He served his community by working tirelessly, with love in “His” garden, Brook Park. So many lives were touched and transformed because of his knowledge, his dedication, but mostly by his presence. Danny was a big guy with a huge heart. He was so loud yet so gentle. He lovingly tended to plants and hus bees in order to supply the locals with fresh food and honey. We, his family are so grateful for all the years we had with him. We all have a Danny shaped hole in our hearts, we hope our memories of him will sustain us. We ask for your continuous prayers. Our prayers are also with all those who loved him like family, he loved you all too❤️.
Visiting will be Thursday from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will be private.
