Eileen Regina, a lifelong resident of the Bronx, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025 at the Kings Harbor Medical Center in the Bronx. She was 93.
She was born April 16, 1932 in the Bronx to the late Andrew and Mary Guarino. She was the youngest, and last survivor, of 6 siblings. She was married to Andrew Regina on December 5, 1953 until his passing on April 27, 1984. She was a loving caretaker to her mother, husband and sister until their passings.
She is survived by her sons Joseph Regina and Steven Regina.
She was the most loving, and caring, person who put the needs of family, friends and charities ahead of her own. She was an avid New York Yankees fan and loved Derek Jeter. Most of all she loved being with her family and, to their delight, tickling their palates with her homemade ricotta cheese cakes, and pizacanes, for Easter, as well as her lemon anginettes, pepper biscotti, chicken cutlets and meatballs.
Visiting will be Monday, September 22 from 3-7pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, September 23 at 11am at Our Lady of Solace Church, 731 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
