Erik Stephen Pichardo, a lifelong resident of the Bronx, died on April 21, 2021. He was 44.
Erik was born on November 18, 1976 in the Bronx to Juaquin Pichardo and Lisa Betre. Erik belonged to Construction Union Local 175. He devoted his spare time to his boys. They meant everything to him. His life dream was that his boys work hard and become very successful in every aspect of their lives. During Covid he dedicated everyday to spending time with his youngest son and ensured that Tristan maintained excellent grades. They loved to watch movies, cuddle and take afternoon naps.
Erik is survived by his three sons, Erik Elijah Pichardo, Juelz A-Don Pichardo, and Tristan Patrick Pichardo; his step-daughter Yasmine Ashleee Lastra; his grandchildren, Amira Milani Rivera and Gianni Kaleb Rivera; his sister Tara Pope; and his brother Max Lucard.
Visiting will be Sunday from 2-7pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Family and friends wishing to attend the visitation virtually may do so by clicking the following link at any time during the visitation hours Pichardo Visitation Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10am at Our Lady of Solace Church, 731 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
