Jimmy Chau, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on July 27, 2026. He was 80.
Mr. Chau was born on January 5, 1946 in Vietnam to the late Sen Chau and Thi Ken Ly. For many years before his retirement he worked as an electrical engineer. He is survived by his wife Mai Ly; his eldest son Alex Chau; his 2nd eldest Simon Chau; his 3rd son Andy Chau; and his youngest son Johnny Chau.
Visiting will be Tuesday, July 28 from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will be private.
