Lena Corsi was born Natalina Sirico on November 26, 1923 and she passed away March 31, 2020. Lena is survived by her beloved children Joseph Corsi and Karen (Corsi) Azzari, her son in-law, Gregory Azzari, her grandchildren, Lauren Azzari and Thomas Azzari and many nieces and nephews.
Lena was preceded in death by her beloved and devoted husband, Louis (Louie) Corsi. She was also preceded in death by her seven sisters and three brothers: Mary Santarpia, Antoinette Licausi, Josephine Maiello, Rose Lombardi, Cora DeDilectis and Carmela Ruggiero, Michael Sirico, George Sirico and Pasquale Sirico.
She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Although she was the third youngest of her siblings, she was the last surviving member of the Sirico family & lovingly referred to as our “Matriarch.” Lena was a wonderful cook & homemaker, welcoming family & friends into her home. She was also a very talented seamstress; often sewing for her immediate & extended family. Lena’s greatest joy in life was being a mother and later a grandmother – always watching out for her family.
Today marks one year since her passing and she is sorely missed by all those who loved her. Due to Covidl9, we were not able to celebrate her life or give her the proper funeral service she so deserved. In remembrance of Lena, we invite you to leave a message in the guestbook and share your memories, stories, and sentiments.
