Luigi “Gino” Guglielmetti, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on October 3, 2026. He was 97.
Mr. Guglielmetti was born on May 2, 1929 in Italy to the late Bonfiglio and Maddalena Guglielmetti. For many years before his retirement he worked as a mason.
Gino is survived by his loving wife, Maria; his daughter, Diane; his granddaughter, Alexa and her husband Michael; and his great-grandson, Michael Louis. He will be loved, missed and remembered forever.
Visiting will be Tuesday, October 6 from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 7 at 10am at St. Clare’s Church, 1918 Paulding Avenue, Bronx. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
