Monserrate Alicea-Marrero, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on September 9, 2026. She was 79.
Mrs. Alicea-Marrero was born on April 14, 1947 in San German, Puerto Rico to Angel Acevedo and Carmen Alicea. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Atancio Marrero Calderon, who died on March 17, 2026.
Visiting will be Saturday, September 19 from 4-9pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will be private.
