Nora Rodriguez, a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and the beloved matriarch of her family, passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 73.

Born on March 7, 1951, in Manhattan, Nora’s life was a testament to love, laughter, and devotion.

Nora was predeceased by her adored husband, Victor (Vito) Daniello, and her mother, Manuela Rodriguez. She is survived by her children, Louis (Junior) Rodriguez, Marlene Rodriguez, Kimberly Izzo, son-in-law, Luigi (Gino) Izzo, stepsons Lance Daniello and Victor Daniello jr, and her cherished grandchildren, Amanda Rivera, Michael Izzo, and Lauren Galarza. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy—she lived for them and they were her world.

Nora was a woman of many passions, and at the heart of it all was her family. She loved cooking and was known for her incredible sofrito, flavorful rice, and legendary Thanksgiving stuffing.

Music was another great love of Nora’s life, and she was a devoted fan of Freddie Mercury and Queen. She found joy in dancing to their music and often shared this passion with the people she loved. Nora was the kind of person who made life an adventure, whether it was sharing her latest favorite YouTube videos, heading to Atlantic City with friends, or simply enjoying a good laugh with her family.

Nora’s vibrant personality, strong work ethic, and deep compassion left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. Her warmth and sociable nature touched many lives, but her true legacy shines in the love she gave her family and the cherished memories she created.

Whether celebrating a birthday, enjoying a holiday, attending a concert, or simply being together, Nora was the heart of it all—making us a family.

Nora lived life with joy and passion, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her. She taught us to love deeply, cherish every moment, and never pass up an opportunity to dance or share a laugh.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 27, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will be private.

In honor of Nora, her family invites you to celebrate her life by listening to Queen, letting the music that brought her so much joy remind you of her vibrant, loving spirit. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
