Patricia Angela Calvo, a resident of Sarasota, Florida and formerly of the Bronx, died on November 4, 2024. She was 93.
Mrs. Calvo was born on June 19, 1931 in the Bronx to the late Patrick and Josephine Mendillo. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Americo J. Calvo- who she was married to for 64 years. She is survived by her sons, John Calvo and his wife Jennifer, Robert Calvo and his wife Christina, and Michael Calvo and his partner Michelle; her grandchildren, Carson Calvo and his wife Jamie, and Carlo Calvo; her great-grandchildren, Christiana, Connor, Colton, Claudia, and Charlize Calvo; her brother, Michael Mendillo and his wife Barbara; her niece, Melissa Mendillo and her husband Juan Escobar, and their children, Amelia and Elena; and her nephew Marc Mendillo and his son Lucas. She is pre-deceased by her son, Christopher Calvo.
Visiting will be Thursday from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10am at St. Clare’s Church, 1918 Paulding Avenue, Bronx. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
