Shipping to the Philippines

When arranging for the transportation of remains to the Philippines, it's important to understand the various shipping options available — and the costs. The following estimates do not include the cost of the casket or the airfare:

  • Funeral home visitation with funeral mass: This option includes visitation at our funeral home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by a funeral mass at a local church the next morning. After you fill out the paperwork, we will arrange shipping. This package includes removal from the place of death, necessary preparations and arrangements, supervision during visitation, hearse transportation to the church and airport, and the airtray required by the airline. Also included are prayer cards, a register book for visiting, clergy fees, pallbearers, and New York death certificates and permit fees. The total cost is $10,710.
  • Funeral home visitation without funeral mass: This option allows for visitation at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. without a funeral mass. We will arrange shipping once you complete the paperwork. Everything mentioned above is included in this package except the hearse to the church and clergy fees. The total cost is $9,120.
  • Direct shipping only: This option is for families opting for no visitation or church services and instead focusing on the shipping process. It includes the removal from the place of death, all necessary preparations and arrangements, and the airtray for shipping. It excludes the use of funeral home facilities for visitation and any associated supervision. The total cost for this service is $8,445.

The entire process typically takes about a week to complete, depending on the consulate's schedule. Our team will handle all aspects of the process in-house, including obtaining the necessary death certificates and letters for the consulate, securing authentication from the New York City Clerk, acquiring apostilles from the New York State Department of State and delivering the paperwork to the consulate for processing.
