Angelina Carmona, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on February 25, 2020. She was 89.
Mrs. Carmona was born on September 30, 1930 in Puerto Rico to the late Jacinto Canales and Petra Encarnacion. For many years before her retirement she worked as a nursing assistant.
Visiting will be Friday from 2-9pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10am at Our Lady of Solace Church, 731 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
I cannot believe that you are gone Angie… we didn’t know until my Brother found out when he went to visit you and saw flowers on your door..we were and still are so Heartbroken because you were such a wonderful longtime friend of our family and we considered you our second mom.. you and our mom were like sisters and now you are both resting peacefully in paradise enjoying each other’s company and talking about the many wonderful years that you and her shared together as best friends…We will never forget you Angelina and will forever love you in our Hearts..rest in peace my second mom..
