Cristiana (Tana) Brea Berges, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died at home surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday September 10, 2022. She was 71.
She was born on March 21, 1951 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to the late Luis Napoleon Berges and Thelma Rosas. She is survived by her husband Hector Brea Rivas, whom she married in December 1970 in the Dominican Republic; her daughter Rosa Garcia and her husband Raymond Rivera of the Bronx; her daughter Isis Brea of the Bronx; her daughter Denisse (Brea) Reyes and her husband Omar Reyes of Milford, MA; her grandson Luis Peña and his wife Maria Zayas of the Bronx; her great grandsons Mason Luis Peña and Levi Yasiel Peña; her niece Maria Isabel Cos; and her grandniece Gabriella Espaillat Cos from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She is pre-deceased by her siblings, Rosa Berges, Luisa Cos Berges, and Luis Rafael Berges.
