Gerald Lopez, 60, of Yonkers, passed away on February 25, 2026 surrounded by family.
He was born to Emanuel and Anna Lopez on August 11th, 1965 In Yonkers, NY. Big G was a dedicated and loving father, husband, brother, and nunu. He was known for his love of crosswords, car shows and magazines, tequila and coffee (separately), and making everyone in the room laugh.
Visiting will be Tuesday, March 3 from 4pm to 8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, March 4 at 11am at St. Clare’s Church, 1908 Paulding Avenue, Bronx. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
