Michele (Michael) Corso, a longtime resident of the Bronx, passed away on January 25, 2026. He was 81 years old.
Michele was born on April 27, 1944 in Vieste, Italy. He married his wife Rosa in 1968 before returning to America to start a new life and family in the Bronx.
He is predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Vittoria Corso and sibling Giovanni. He is survived by his brother and sister, Alessandro and Antonella, along with his children…Maria Vittoria (Vicky) with husband Scott, Filomena with husband Donato and their 3 children, Roseanne (with husband Anthony and sons, Dominic and Joseph), Anthony, and Nicholas, daughter Antonella with husband Robert, and son Vincent with wife Diane and their 3 children, Leo, Chloe, and Sophie. ALL of whom he adored and loved very much! He also leaves behind other numerous cherished family members and friends who he was always proud of.
Michele was a provider to all he knew, as well as a loving Nonno, who TRULY ADORED his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed being together and always looked forward to spending time as a family. He will be extremely missed by all.
Visiting will be Friday, January 30 from 3-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 31 at 10am at St. Francis Xavier Church, 1703 Lurting Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, East 233rd Street and Webster Avenue, Bronx.
