Olympia Coniglio, a lifelong resident of the Bronx, died on December 22, 2018. She was 92.
Mrs. Coniglio was born in the Bronx on November 16, 1926 to the late Joseph and Marie Antoinette (Mauro) Affinito. On June 20, 1948 she married Frank Coniglio. He died on January 20, 2002.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Coniglio-Scapoli and her husband Tom and Paula Coniglio; her grandchildren, Frankie, A.J., Krista, and Alyssa Scapoli; her great-granddaughter Jasmine Johnson; and her furry grandchildren, Emma, Cuddles, Whitey, Chloe, and Minnie.
Visiting will be Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 10am at St. Francis Xavier Church, 1075 Van Nest Avenue, Bronx. Cremation will follow at Woodlawn Crematory, East 233rd Street and Webster Avenue, Bronx.
