Richard Popp, a lifelong resident of the Bronx, died on January 21, 2026. He was 75.
Mr. Popp was born on April 28, 1950 in the Bronx to the late George and Elizabeth (Langhaar) Popp. For many years before his retirement he worked as a civil engineer. He is survived by his wife Carol (Barozzi) Popp and his daughters, Andrea Popp and Erica Popp.
Visiting will be Tuesday, January 27 from 3-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 28 at 10am at St. Clare’s Church, 1908 Paulding Avenue, Bronx. Interment will follow at Kensico Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla.
