Rosetta Mangano passed away peacefully at home on February 10,2026 at the age of 94. She was surrounded by her loving children.
Rosetta was born in Capaci, Sicily, Italy, where she married Joseph on April 22,1957 and then moved to the Bronx. She was loved by so many- a true best friend to all. She shared her love through her passion for cooking and baking and her rice balls and cannoli were some of the favorites .We know her husband Joseph and daughter Anna will welcome her with open arms.
Rosetta was the most loving and beautiful mother ,grandmother and great grandmother you can ask for. We are all heartbroken until we meet again. We will cherish her forever.
Rosetta is survived by her loving children Joseph, Mary (Mario) Chiarucci, and Frances. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph and her daughter Anna. She is also survived by her grandchildren Mario, Lauren (Jerry) Maselli, Stephanie, and Molliann; and her great-grandsons Michael and Rory.
Visiting will be Thursday, February 19 from 3-8pm and Friday, February 20 from 2-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, February 21 at 10:30am at St. Lucy’s Church, Mace and Bronxwood Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, 230 Secor Road, Hartsdale.
