Sonia Pares-Jiraud
May 20, 1991 – August 4, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sonia Pares-Jiraud, who left this world far too soon on August 4, 2025. She was a loving daughter, a phenomenal mother, and a devoted wife. Sonia lived a life filled with love, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
She had a vibrant spirit that loved traveling, being spontaneous, and embracing every opportunity to spend time with her family and friends. Her presence could light up any room, and she had a remarkable gift for creating moments that would be cherished forever.
Her heart extended boundlessly to her sisters, brothers, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Those around Her gravitated to her beautiful soul and caring heart. To know her is to love her!
Despite her illness, Sonia never allowed for it to take control. She was strong with uplifting energy. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Visiting will be Saturday and Sunday from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Family and friends wishing to attend the visitation virtually may do so by clicking the following link at any time during the visiting hours Pares-Jiraud Virtual Visitation Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 2496 Marion Avenue, Bronx. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
