Theresa Tomasino, age 94, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away at Providence Rest on February 25, 2026.
Mrs. Tomasino was born on April 28, 1931 in New York City to the late Joseph and Concetta (Siricco) DeAntonio. Theresa dedicated her life to raising her family, and loved nothing more than spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, going to casinos, playing cards and enjoying the company of her friends and family. Theresa will be greatly missed, and never forgotten, by all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her daughters, Louise Cernera and Anne Santamaria; her grandchildren, Michele Pirrello, Lisa Schaller, Theresa Reilly, John Santamaria, and Matt Santamaria; and her great-grandchildren, Matt Schaller, Caitlyn Schaller, Casey Schaller, Ashley Pirrello, Brianne Pirrello, Emerson Reilly, and Mason Reilly.
Visiting will be Tuesday, March 3 from 8:30am to 10:30am at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, March 3 at 11am at St. Francis Xavier Church, 1703 Lurting Avenue, Bronx. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
