Emma Jaime, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on April 7, 2025. She was 98.

Mrs. Jaime was born on May 6, 1926 in Aguada, Puerto Rico to the late Severo and Consuelo (Vadi) Jaime. She worked as a skilled seamstress but found her true calling in caring for her family. She dedicated her life to raising her niece and nephew while also being a devoted sister and a nurturing presence to all who knew her. For the last seven years and a half, she was lovingly cared for by her niece Ana Ilia Rodriguez, and great nieces Nayda Rodriguez and Aileen Rodriguez, who remained devoted to her well being and care. She is survived by a loving family, including nieces and nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends who will cherish her memory. She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness, finding great faith and community in her beliefs.

Visiting will be Saturday, April 12 from 10am to 12pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will be private.
