Joseph Vernocchi, a lifelong resident of the Bronx, died on October 20, 2025. He was 70.
Mr. Vernocchi was born on March 19, 1955 in the Bronx to the late Louis and Delia Vernocchi. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Stewart, Linda Vernocchi, JoAnn Vernocchi, and Lisa Rosso; and his brother, James Vernocchi. He is pre-deceased by his brother Louis Vernocchi.
Visiting will be Sunday from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 11am at St. Clare’s Church, 1918 Paulding Avenue, Bronx. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
