John Lugo, Jr., a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on February 11, 2026. He was 78.
Mr. Lugo was born on September 2, 1947 in New York City to the late Juan and Herminia (Sule) Lugo. For many years he worked as a building superintendent. He is survived by his wife, Nhan Nguyen Lugo, and his daughter, Hannah Lugo.
Visiting will be Monday, February 16 from 4pm to 8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 17 at 9am with the entombment following at Woodlawn Cemetery, East 233rd Street and Webster Avenue, Bronx.
