Andrew Steven Taylor, Sr., a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on February 4, 2022. He was 60.
Mr. Taylor was born on January 19, 1962 in New York City to the late Dionisio and Dorothy (Rose) Taylor. Andy spent many years working various janitorial, porter, construction and maintenance jobs. Through this, he learned many tangible skills and made lasting impressions on everyone he interacted with. Though Andy was a die-hard Cowboys fan, fanatic sports, movies and music lover, he loved his family more than anything in the world.
He is survived by his wife, Jovine Rivera; his son, Andrew Steven Taylor, Jr.; his daughter-in-law, Gina Kowalsky; his granddaughter, Penelope Noel Taylor; his brothers, Michael Taylor and his wife Helen, and Robbie Taylor and his wife Asha; his sisters, Sandra Taylor and Deborah Taylor; five nephews; five nieces; seven great nephews; nine great nieces; many immediate and extended family members from Virginia; and his beloved dog Kobe. In addition to his parents he is pre-deceased by his sisters, Susan Taylor and Christine Taylor.
