Ann Smith, a resident of Haverstraw and formerly of the Bronx, died on May 22, 2018. She was 94.
Mrs. Smith was born on April 9, 1924 in the Bronx to the late Andrea and Carmela (Martinelli) Tripaldi. On June 25, 1944 she married Frank J. Smith. He died on February 13, 1984. She is also pre-deceased by her son Michael Smith.
She is survived by her children, Janis Coppa and her husband William, Frank Smith and his wife Mila, and Kara Mega and her husband Anthony; her daughter-in-law, Arlene Smith; her grandchildren, Frank Smith and his wife Jennifer, Janine Gjelevic and her husband Anton, Nicole Solomon and her husband Mitchell, William Coppa and his wife Nadia, Michael Smith and his wife Victoria, Eric Mega, Jenna Mega, Anthony Mega, and Jamie Aguilar; her great-grandchildren, Jillian, Ymani, Xavier, Logan, Austin, Bryce, Michaela, Deanna, Ava, Natalia, Luciano, and Abigail; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be Thursday 4-8pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 11am at Our Lady of Solace Church, 731 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
