Anna Giannico, 90, of the Bronx, New York, passed away on January 18, 2024. She was born on July 25, 1933 Anna was a loving and caring individual who brought happiness and laughter to those around her. She had a proud and adventurous spirit that always kept her loved ones on their toes.
Anna is survived by her children, John Giannico (and his partner Lisa), Joseph Giannico (and his wife Julia and their kids Benny, Alex, Andrew, Lucia and Liam), and Annmarie Poplees (and her husband Joe, deceased). She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Giannico, as well as her brothers, Michael and Frank Rocchio, and her sisters, Margie Layman and Fay Rinaldi.
A ceremony to celebrate Anna’s life will be held at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx on Tuesday, January 23 from 4-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 24 at 10am at St Clare’s Church, 1918 Paulding Avenue, Bronx. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Association in Anna’s memory
