Anne Mariano, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on March 4, 2018. She was 93.
Mrs. Mariano was born in New York City on November 18, 1924 to the late Giuseppe and Lucia (Nicolsi) Panepinto. On October 24, 1948 she married Michael Mariano. He died in 1986.
Mrs. Mariano is survived by her daughters, Anita Mariano and Lisa Hughes and her husband Michael; her sons, Michael Mariano, Jr. and his wife Roxanne and Jamie Mariano; her grandchildren, Michael Mariano III, Roxanne Mariano, James Mariano, Samantha Mariano, Johnny Mariano, Anthony Ramputi, and Michael Ramputi; her great-grandson Michael Mariano IV; and her brother, Salvatore Panepinto.
Visiting will be Thursday 2-5 & 7-9pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday 9:15am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Eat 187th Street and Belmont Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, New York
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations in her name to Providence Rest, 3304 Waterbury Avenue, Bronx, New York 10465.
