Arthur J. Mooney, a lifelong resident of the Bronx, died on February 9, 2025. He was 90.
Mr. Mooney was born on November 23, 1934 in the Bronx to the late Arthur John and Agnes (Wrenn) Mooney. For many years before his retirement he was a field engineer for IBM.
He is pre-deceased by his wife, June Mooney, who died on October 25, 2004. He is survived by his son, Doug Mooney and his wife Cheryl.
Visiting will be Wednesday from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10am at St. Frances de Chantel Church, 190 Hollywood Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
