Assunta Algieri, the nucleus of the of the family who touched so many lives, died on September 8, 2021. She is survived by her children and their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved attending family gatherings and welcomed having new little ones in the family while cherishing the adult grandchildren as well. She will be missed immensely.
Visiting will be Sunday from 2-7pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Family and friends wishing to attend the visiting virtually may do so by clicking the following link at any time during the visitation Algieri Visitation Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10am at St. Francis Xavier Church, 1703 Lurting Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx. At the family’s request in lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
