Benjamin Nuqui Basa, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on May 21, 2026. He was 87.
Mr. Basa was born on May 2, 1939 in Manila, Philippines to the late Fernando Basa and Consolacion Nuqui. He is pre-deceased by his wife Aurora (Lapuz) Basa. For many years before his retirement he worked as a mechanical engineer.
Interment will take place in the Philippines.
