Carmela Sottile, age 95, Bronx, NY passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
Beloved wife of the late Carmelo. She was born on January 25, 1931 in Sicily. Dedicated mother of Mario, Angela, Santino, Frank, and Liliana. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Known for her lasagna, manicotti, spiedini, and meatballs. Loved to laugh and share stories with everyone. She will be missed.
Visiting will be Tuesday, July 7 from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, July 8 at 10am at St. Clare’s Church, 1918 Paulding Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
