Devanand Chickerie, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on January 5, 2024. He was 57.
Mr. Chickerie was born on February 2, 1966 in Guyana to David and Rajdai Chickerie.

this was my uncle. he was one of the silliest, most loving dudes ever. i loved and still love him endlessly. i think of you all the time. i wish we had some more time together, and i wish i could see you one last time. i will continue to miss and remember you until then. godspeed uncle d.
