Domenico Recine was born on March 8, 1931 in Ripi Frosinone, Italy to the late Vincenzo and Lucia (Lombardi) Recine. He is pre-deceased by his daughter Rossana Recine.
He is survived by his wife, Laura (Rita) (nee Lombardi) Recine; his three daughters, Annunziata Recine, Luciana Recine and Rossana Castrignano and her husband Paul Castrignano; and his grandchildren: Jessica Michelle Castrignano and Paul Domenic Castrignano.
Domenico immigrated with his family to the United States in 1967. He worked for local Union 79 until his retirement. He took delight in working in his garden growing tomatoes and making wine. One of his favorite hobbies was doing home improvement work. He loved to eat especially Sunday’s with family enjoying a huge bowl of pasta. His other enjoyments were a great card game, passion for music and singing. You could always hear him humming a tune.
His greatest love was his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed!!
Visiting will be Thursday from 4-8pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10am at St. Clare’s Church, 1908 Paulding Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale.
