Efrain Chanza

Efrain ChanzaEfrain Chanza, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on September 30, 2018. He was 55.

Mr. Chanza was born on June 6, 1963 in Brooklyn to Efrain and Ramona (Torres) Chanza. He was very proud to have worked for the MTA for 13 years.

He is survived by his loving partner of over 12 years, Mary Catherine Abdel, and raised three wonderful step-children, Janah, Leila, and Josef; he is the loving brother to Magdalena, Edwin, and Angel; the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and a wonderful nephew to his aunts; and a loving cousin. He is pre-deceased by his brother Henry and his grandmother Margarita.

Visiting will be Tuesday 2-6pm, with a service at 5pm, at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will be private.

    Frankie was a sweet guy. I worked with him years ago in lower Manhattan. May he continue to rest in peace. My condolences to his family.
