Evelyn Zingone, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on August 12, 2026. She was 89.
Mrs. Zingone was born on May 16, 1937 in Coamo, Puerto Rico to the late Marcelino Guma Cortez and Dolores Rosado Guma. For many years before her retirement she worked as a teacher.
Visiting will be Sunday, August 16 from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 17 at 10am at St. Raymond’s Church, Castle Hill and East Tremont Avenues, Bronx. Entombment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
