Francesco Spadafora, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on January 21, 2024 at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville. He was 89.
Mr. Spadafora was born on February 25, 1934 in Calabria, Italy in the town of Rogliano in Cosenza to his parents Maria and Ernesto Spadafora. Francesco was the owner of a pizzeria in Washington Heights, New York for over 35 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and he adored his one and only grandchild Francesca, who was named after him and was his pride & joy.
Mr. Spadafora is survived by his devoted wife Giovanna; his loving children, Maria Mandino and her husband Michael, Elena Spadafora, Tino Spadafora and his wife Antonella; and cherished granddaughter Francesca.
Visiting will be Wednesday, January 24 from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Cremation will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, East 233rd Street and Webster Avenue, Bronx.
