Iris R. Espada, a longtime resident of the Bronx, passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on March 21, 1949, in Coamo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Pedro Borges and Josefina Morales.
She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Carlos Manuel Espada. Iris is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Espada-Rivera; her sons, Edgar Espada, Brandon Espada, and David Espada; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be Thursday, September 18 from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx.
