Jared Francis Marcello

On Sunday, May 23, 2021, Jared  Francis Marcello, loving son, brother, uncle and cousin, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 33.

 
Jared is survived by his parents, Patricia Rossi and John Marcello, his siblings Alphonse, Deanna and Melissa, cousins, Nicole, John, Ashley,Erica and Brittany,  nieces, Juliana, Alexa and Saoirse, and nephews, Adam, Lucas, Jake and Luke. He is preceded in death by his loving Aunt Eileen Klett, & Grandparents Frank and Anne Speth and Alphonse and Lucy Marcello.
 
Jared is a   graduate of Fordham Prep and a graduate of Iona College with a degree in Finance. Most recently, Jared was employed with the Javit Center Covid vaccination program where he relished in assisting the public during the pandemic 
 
Jared was a devoted son to his mother who he undoubtedly loved with his entire heart.  Jared adored and looked up to his older brother, Alphonse.  A true kind soul, Jared was always willing to help his loved ones in need (whether it would be a quick joke, assisting his cousins with moving, teaching his nephews how to pass the ball in basketball or helping his mother shovel their driveway). Jared was especially known by many for his exceptional wit and sharp intelligence. Jared will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew him. The world is a little less bright without him.
Visiting will be Thursday from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10am at St. Francis Xavier Church, 1703 Lurting Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, 61 Whippany Road, Morristown, New Jersey.

    I was the teachers aide in Jared’s kindergarten class. I am so very sorry about the loss of your son. My prayers are with you. May Jared Rest In Peace.

    He was a really good friend of mine when I lived in Brooklyn. He knew alot of the old saved by the bell episodes like me, and we’d goof on all those jersey shore tv people. I know he’d be happy that the Jaguars finally have a legit franchise quarterback. Sad to find out about his passing. My condolences to his family.
