Joseph J. Battista, a resident of St. Petersburg, Florida and formerly of the Bronx, died on April 5, 2018. He was 63.
Mr. Battista was born on May 28, 1954 in the Bronx to the late Joseph and Ann (Boglioli) Battista. For many years before his retirement he worked as a firefighter in the New York City Fire Department.
Visiting will be Friday 4-8pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 10am at St. Dominic’s Church, 1734 Unionport Road, Bronx. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
