My brother, my friend. I tried to find you so many years ago. You searched and found our mom. I remember you saying you showed up at our grandparents house expecting the uncles to tell you she had already died. You told me of your surprise when they brought you inside and dialed her number. She was still alive. That summer you were reunited here, at my house, after 50 years apart. That Christmas you spent it with us. It was moms last Christmas. I didn’t know what to give you, so I went through and found pictures my mother had of you when you were little. I made you a photo album with a timeline of all of us growing up. You were never alone. You were always loved. And you will always be missed. Until we find each other again. Love always, Tessie
