Maria Mariani, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on June 6, 2024. She was 86.
Mrs. Mariani was born on September 11, 1937 in Italy to the late Domenico and Francesca (Puglisi) Santoro. She is pre-deceased by her husband Rolando Mariani. She is survived by her daughters, Lucia Mariani and Alda Mariani; her sons, Robert Mariani and Claude Mariani; and her brother, Nicolino Santoro. She is also pre-deceased by her brother, Antonio Santoro.
Visiting will be Monday from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10am at St. Francis Xavier Church, 1703 Lurting Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale.
