Marie Olivera, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on August 19, 2023. She was 80.
Mrs. Olivera was born on March 16, 1943 in Puerto Rico to the late Miguel and Arsenia (Ayala) Olivera. She is survived by her sons, Jose Almodovar and Daniel Almodovar; her daughter, Laurie Almodovar-Williams; her grandchildren, Michael Anthony Almodovar, Daniel Joseph Almodovar, and Mya Skye Williams; and her brothers, Andres Olivera and Miguel Olivera. She is pre-deceased by her sister, Maria Rodriguez Olivera.
Visiting will be Thursday from 4-8pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will be private.
