
Mary Rose Lynch, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on July 6, 2025. She was 95.
Ms. Lynch was born on October 6, 1929 in Youghal, County Cork, Ireland to the late Edward Paul and Agnes (Fleming) Lynch. She worked in Ireland locally before moving to London. She emigrated to the United States in 1956- settling in the Morris Park section of the Bronx in 1960.
Rose is predeceased by her sister Bree and her brother Paddy. She will be sadly missed by her brother Gerry, her sister-in-law Eilish, and by all her nephews, nieces and extended family members.
Visiting will be Thursday from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Family and friends wishing to attend the visitation virtually may do so by clicking the following link at any time during the visiting hours Lynch Virtual Visitation Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10am at St. Clare’s Church, 1918 Paulding Avenue, Bronx. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne.
