Nelson Rosa, a lifelong resident of the Bronx, died on May 30, 2018. He was 57.
Mr. Rosa was born on September 7, 1960 in the Bronx to Carmen (Reyes) and the late Enrique Rosa. In addition to his mother, Carmen Rosa, he is survived by his wife Wilma (Santos Garcia) Rosa, whom he married on April 10, 2002; his daughters, Monica Machuca and her husband Luis, Kimberly Diaz and her husband Chris, and Jovanie Porter and her husband Jamaine; his son, Nelson E. Rosa and his wife Fania; his grandchildren, Luis, Jr., Jayla, Madison, Aubrey, Kedwin, and Jason; and his sister Ivette Rivera and her husband Hector and their children.
Visiting will be Tuesday 4-9pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday 10am at Holy Cross Church, 600 Soundview Avenue, Bronx. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
