Nina Galasso, a longtime resident of Yonkers, died on July 4, 2026. She was 71.
Mrs. Galasso was born on May 18, 1955 in the Bronx to Jack and Estelle (Tandeter) Schuster. For many years before her retirement she worked as a teacher’s aide in the New York City Department of Education. She is survived by her husband Lawrence Galasso and her daughters Lauren Galasso and Vanessa Delgado.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 7 at 11am at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartdale.
