Ramon Pena, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on June 11, 2018. He was 79.
Mr. Pena was born in Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic on August 31, 1938 to the late Raymundo and Maria (Gonzalez) Pena. On February 29, 1980 he married Altagracia Ines Garcia. For many years before his retirement he worked for the New York City Housing Authority.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons, Raymond Pena and Miguel Pena; his daughter, Evelyn Pena; six grandchildren; three brothers; and seven sisters.
Visiting will be Friday 4-9pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will take place in Juan Gomez, Dominican Republic.
