Richard G. Carpenter, a resident of New Rochelle, died on April 17, 2019. He was 73.
Mr. Carpenter was born on March 15, 1946 in New York City to the late Herbert and Theresa (Walsh) Carpenter. For many years before his retirement he worked as a handyman with Local 32BJ.
He is survived by his former wife, Anna Powers; his daughter, Laura A. Carpenter; his son, Richard Carpenter, Jr. and his wife Linda; his granddaughter, Jeannine Carpenter; his brothers, Joey, William, Ronnie, Raymond, Michael, Donald, and Peter Carpenter; and many loving nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his sister, Joan O’Shea.
Visiting will be Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm, with a service at 8:30pm, at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will take place Wednesday 9:30am at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
