Rita Bastone, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on May 1, 2024. She was 85.
Mrs. Bastone was born on November 18, 1938 in Italy to the late Joseph and Carmella (Gaudio) Aiello. She is survived by her husband, Frank Carmine Bastone; her sons, Frank Bastone and Angelo Bastone; and her daughter, Mary Ann DiSalvo.
Visiting will be Saturday from 3-7pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Family and friends wishing to attend the visitation virtually may do so by clicking the following link at any time during the visiting hours Bastone Virtual Visitation There will be no visitation on Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10am at St. Clare’s Church, 1918 Paulding Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx.
