Robert Joseph Harris, a lifelong resident of the Bronx, died on July 2, 2024. He was 88.
Robert was born on October 4, 1935 in the Bronx to the late Joseph and Josephine (Kopp) Harris. For many years before his retirement he worked for Con Edison.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Josephine (D’Alessandro) Harris. He is also survived by his beloved children; Billy Harris (Monica), Lori Pennella (Vincent) and Richard Harris (Tricia), and his cherished grandchildren; Amanda, John, Ricky, Shane, Mia and Tiffany.
Visiting will be Friday from 4-8pm at John Dormi & Sons Funeral Home, 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11am at St. Clare’s Church, 1908 Paulding Avenue, Bronx. Interment will be private.
